Description of Firm
I am committed to preserving the civil rights of individuals in employment discrimination and injury cases arising under federal law and state law including, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (Title VII), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), The Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the state employment discrimination statues, and various other statutory and common law theories. I also represent individuals in major personal injury cases.

We have, over the fifteen years we have been handling personal injury claims, successfully recovered millions of dollars for our clients. This level of representation requires skill at trial and negotiation, resources to assemble and present scientific evidence, and an absolute commitment to accident victims. Attorney Jim Arruebarrena assembles a team of experts and lawyers specifically qualified to handle each case. We are prepared to handle a wide range of personal injury claims.

Mission Statement
James L. Arruebarrena Attorney at Law, L.L.C. is a law firm which is dedicated to protecting employment rights and the rights of injury victims. I concentrate on cases which preserve the rights of individuals in the fight against unfairness and for justice in the workplace, and the fight for fair compensation for injury victims. I believe that the monetary damages provided under federal employment discrimination laws, state employment discrimination laws and tort laws acts as a deterrent to employers who still allow prohibited discrimination and those who are responsible for negligently injuring others. Thus, I zealously seek all damages allowed by law to provide individual compensation for harm done to our clients and to discourage further wrongdoing. To that end, I fully understand the emotional toll on employees who suffer the unfairness of discrimination and upon injury victims; thus, I always consider this aspect of our clients damages as a real injury.
